Eisstockschießen
Members of the HSB get together for Eisstockschießen (German Curling)
It is a game played on ice, weather and ice conditions permitting, and with rules loosely derived from Bocce. We play outside on an ice pond. We keep score with quarters. You would have to be very unlucky to lose a lot of quarters!
What do you need to play? You need warm clothing, rubber boots, and ice gribbers for your boots. If you already have an Eisstock that would be nice, but is not necessary, as we have ample Eisstocks available for you to play with.
